On the recent Mexico trip I picked up a new box of Prismacolors, admittedly in part because I like the rainbowy Toucan on the package.

Promptly started a drawing with them in a little notebook I'd been given and only opened that afternoon.

I meant to draw myself (quadruped) but the nose turned a little canid and by partway in I decided I was doing a Cat-Gray Fox hybrid, and completed the drawing as such.

And a photo of the Prismacolors, with bonus edge of cat; she was all excited that I was doing something on the floor and right there to be given attention.

In a recent dollar store trip, I found an adorable little figurine of what I promptly decided was a Dragon-Giraffe. Something about the sweeping horns, big eyes and small nose.

Side-view of her next to a sign: It's a girl

Front-view of her with the gold-edged sign.

She needed to be called something incredibly girly, so is Flowerette. (A name I found in Suzette Haden Elgin's Native Tongue series.)

I might have got something drawn today just because the date is neat.

Pencil and ink on pink

Otter-Snow Leopard hybrid for no particular reason, drawn with pencil and ink on pink card as those were the materials I had to hand.
