I would like to go to the Association of Canadian Archivists conference in Whitehorse... admittedly what really caught my eye was the excursion to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve.

Not practical time of the year to go away; I didn't even look at flights. Ah well, someday.

"But how do they know it's a true story if they got eaten by sharks?"

"That was one of my conditions when we got back together, that he find some sort of therapy"

...at the symposium
"This is a classification scheme. It's not the same as filing."

I really enjoyed the symposium I went to today:
The Law of Unintended Consequences: The right to be forgotten, the duty to remember

Really interesting spread of topics and presenters.

A couple of the sponsors had little stalls, and I got the best swag ever from Iron Mountain:

Also, in my early-morning walk from the bus loop to the seminar venue, I saw a rainbow flag and three or four banners. Nice.
