Requested fandoms for Yuletide:
Black Beauty - Anna Sewell
Dinotrux (TV)
The Hundred and One Dalmatians - Dodie Smith
Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle Series - Betty MacDonald

Black Beauty - Anna Sewell
Character: Merrylegs

Background past or imagined futures, or details in times we don't see, for Merrylegs would be great. Perhaps Merrylegs mentoring or advising another horse or pony? I like the vividness of Black Beauty, troubled and cruel experiences as well as the peaceful or happy ones. So if you want to write dark or happy (or a mixture) then please do.

Dinotrux (TV)
Character: Skya

I'd be happy to read something introspective about Skya, or her with any other character(s), or original characters. I like the teambuilding and the literal building in this show. I probably won't watch season three right away, so I won't be expecting any new revelations, species, and such to be included. Indeed I'd especially enjoy something set early in season one or pre-series.

The Hundred and One Dalmatians - Dodie Smith
Character: Perdita (The Hundred and One Dalmatians - Dodie Smith)

I'd love to read more about Perdita. Her youth and brief marriage and raising her litter on the farm. Her first weeks with the Dearlys, Pongo and Missis. (Her relationship with that dalmatian couple could be sisterly as described, or otherwise.) How she felt looking after the puppies. Detail of her reunion with all the puppies. Or her time past the end of the novel, at the Hall and reunited with Prince. (Feel free to incorporate all, some, or none of The Starlight Barking.) Perhaps she formed a friendship with the white Persian cat, who also experienced an uncaring owner and the loss of her children.

Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle Series - Betty MacDonald

Of the series I most enjoyed Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's Farm, with its largely natural rather than supernatural or magical cures, and the various animal characters. This could be a fun one for crossovers or fusions, if that's a thing you enjoy writing. Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle might have a difficult time curing, say, Stitch or young Simba.

Stylistic things

I like worldbuilding, characters meeting, and all sorts of family and friendships. I'm always happy to read about animal or otherwise nonhuman characters (as indicated by three of the above fandoms) and particularly enjoy nonhuman points of view. I prefer reading stories where alternate universes and strange concepts take themselves seriously (as opposed to surrealism or meta humour). I'm comfortable with past or present tense, third, first, or even second person. My do not want: I know not using capital letters to start names or sentences can be a stylistic choice, as can not putting quotation marks around dialogue, but I can't read a story without those markers.

Thank you!
